MU RUGGED RACKMOUNT SERVERS
Rackmount servers are computers housed in a rectangular enclosure designed to be mounted within a standard server rack. Their space-saving design allows multiple units to be stacked vertically in a compact space.
Our servers feature standard five-year warranties, proprietary SysCool® thermal management systems and meet MIL-STD-810, 461 and 901 standards.
With a small form factor, the M1U-20 platform packs a lot of power into a small and quiet system. Ideal for intense industrial, energy and military applications, it features built-in redundancy. Options include MIL-STD-461 EMI-compliant shielding.
The M2U computing platform can mount 12x 2.5” removable drives and diverse PCI and PCI Express expansion cards. A lighter weight and smaller footprint make this system ideal for airborne and vehicle-mounted performance, as well as industrial applications where space is limited.
The M3U high-performance rackmount system supports up to 12x 2.5” removable drives and a range of expansion cards. It is powerful enough to handle telemetry, communications, diagnostics, simulations and severe environments. Its construction makes it an option for military and industrial deployments, and it is lightweight enough for vehicle-mounted needs.
Our M4U rugged server is built to MIL-STD-810, 461, and 901 standards, making it ideal for marine, airborne and vehicle-mounted deployments. With shock-isolated hard drive bays and aircraft-grade aluminum front panel and enclosure body, it is ready to withstand extreme environments and continue to provide the memory you need.
Our M4U-20 rugged server is available in chassis as small as 14 inches for applications that require a smaller footprint. It can mount up to four removable drives and a range of expansion cards.
The M5U-HPC computer offers an open architecture for component upgrades and software integration. With Intel Xeon CPUs and a long-life system board, the M5U-HPC supports high-memory capacity and can support up to four Dual Slot GPUs. It is one of our most powerful systems, handling the workload of multiple traditional systems.
We often get asked:
A standard server can operate in a typical office or workplace environment. A ruggedized server features enhanced cooling, hardened chassis, military-grade certifications and other features that allow it to function in more extreme environments. They can be used in naval vessels, manned aircraft, factory flooring, mining operations and other extreme environments.
Most servers have different chassis options and are fully customizable in terms of expansion. Most of our rugged servers also have Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) technology to enhance data redundancy. Choose from different configurations for your applications.
Yes, all our rugged servers are either made in or assembled in the U.S., adhering to the 1979 Trade Agreements Act (TAA).

Finding the Right Fit
Match server capabilities with your computational needs.
Evaluate storage capacity and scalability.
The monitor’s size should fit seamlessly into the available space within your equipment or control panel.
Choosing the correct size ensures easy visibility and integration without sacrificing functionality.
Choose the right network interfaces for your setup.
Consider temperature, power and airflow for the environment in which you’ll be using it.
Our rugged servers can tolerate demanding conditions and environments. They can withstand dust, shock and vibrations from their environment.
Rackmount servers are designed to optimize physical space, allowing data centers and enterprises to house multiple servers in a compact, organized layout.
Engineered to promote airflow, ensuring efficient cooling. The design enhances power distribution, improving energy efficiency to prevent overheating.
These servers allow businesses to easily scale their infrastructure by adding or upgrading units as operational needs evolve. Their modular approach supports long-term growth.
