With rugged COTS componentry, the M2U-20 offers the small form factor of the M1U while adding minimal weight and space for additional performance and customizability. For storage array options one of the key differences is the M2U’s capability for up to 12 2.5″ removable drives and an array of PCI/PCIe expansion cards.
