The customer was purchasing systems from Sun Microsystems to house a Sun SCSI tape subsystem drive. The enclosure from Sun was too deep for a particular application leaving the customer without a solution. CP Technologies provided a specially integrated 1U F6000 chassis. We had to design and fabricate new cables, change the power switch, blank the reset switch, and incorporate a brass grounding stud on the rear panel. The result is an attractive chassis with a door covering the tape drive and controls that perfectly fits the customer’s requirements. CP Technologies is providing a Turn Key fully integrated solution for this customer.
