M5U22 20-Slot Rugged Rackmount Computer
Building out our M5U22 family of military grade configured rackmount systems, we’ve release a new 20-slot version offering seventeen high speed, low-latency x16 PCIe 2.0 links and one x4 PCIe 2.0 slot in a x16 connector.
Initial shipments include a dual XEON E5 6-Core single board computer. The SBC offers up to 48GB of DDR3-1600 memory.
The rugged M5U22 chassis is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum with a 1/4″ thick milled front panel. A welded formed front door provides EMI and air filters for operation in harsh environments. Three long-life high reliability aluminum body fans cool the system. A SysCool Intelligent Adaptive Fan Controller runs the fans at the optimum speed for cooling the system while extending the fan and air filter life.
The system supports four 3-1/2″ hard drives. Tailored card hold-downs assure the plug-in cards stay seated in areas of high vibration and shock. Power is provided by a 1500W N3+1 redundant power supply.
These systems were selected for their rugged construction and feature set to solve the customer’s immediate application requirements.
